Erin Raney, Pharm.D., BCPS, BC-ADM, FCCP

Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Midwestern University College of Pharmacy – Glendale

Dr. Raney received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arizona in 1996 and then completed pharmacy practice and ambulatory care specialty residencies at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals in Richmond, Virginia. Her initial faculty appointment in 1998 was with the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy in the area of community pharmacy practice. She joined the faculty at
Midwestern University College of Pharmacy-Glendale (MWU-CPG) in 2001. In her current position as Professor of Pharmacy Practice at MWU-CPG, she practices as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist at the Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic providing disease management services and diabetes education in collaboration with family medicine physicians. Her experiential and didactic teaching responsibilities and clinical interests are in cardiology and endocrinology, with a focus on women’s health. Her scholarship efforts emphasize the development and evaluation of continuous professional development strategies for students and practicing pharmacists. She serves as a co-coordinator of MWU-CPG’s Student Leadership Development program and is a core faculty member for Midwestern University’s Clinician Educators Program. She is an active member of the American Pharmacists Association, American College of Clinical Pharmacy, American Association of Diabetes Educators and the Arizona Pharmacy Association.
