Maura J. Jones, Pharm.D, BCPS is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Midwestern University College of Pharmacy in Glendale, AZ. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA in 2013 and her Doctor of Pharmacy from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, PA in 2017. Following pharmacy school, Dr. Jones completed a combined PGY1/2 ASHP-accredited 24-month Pharmacotherapy Residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center/University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy in Knoxville, TN. In her current position as Assistant Professor, she practices as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist at the Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic, providing interdisciplinary patient care as well as precepting pharmacy students and residents. Her scholarly and teaching interests include cardiology, anticoagulation, chronic disease management, and innovations in student and patient education. Dr. Jones is an alumna of the Midwestern University Clinician Educators Program (CEP) and currently serves as a faculty member on the CEP steering committee.
