Shareen El-Ibiary, Pharm.D., BCPS, FCCP

Professor and Chair of Pharmacy Practice, Midwestern University College of Pharmacy – Glendale

Dr. Shareen El-Ibiary is Professor and Chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Midwestern University College of Pharmacy in Glendale, Arizona. She also served as a faculty member at the University of California–San Francisco (UCSF) School of Pharmacy for 7 years. She received her Pharm.D. from the University of South Carolina and completed her general
pharmacy practice residency at UCSF. Her areas of interest and publication include faculty development, work-life integration, burnout prevention, pharmacy curriculum and innovative teaching. Other interests include internal medicine and women’s health with a focus in contraception, and preconception care. Dr. El-Ibiary has spoken nationally and internationally on various topics, written book chapters and papers, and developed continuing education programs related to faculty development topics and women’s health issues. She is a graduate of the
American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Academic Leadership Fellows Program, was a fellow of the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists and is a fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
